Door Controller Settings

Control

Open above T1 (deg C) ? When automatic mode is enabled, the actuator opens once the measured temperature reaches or exceeds this threshold.

Close below T2 (deg C) ? Use a lower value than T1. Keep at least 5.0 deg C between T1 and T2 to avoid rapid toggling.

Auto-stop after (seconds) ? The same timeout is used for opening and closing. Set this to 0 to disable timed stop.

Current limit (mA) ? The actuator stops when the absolute INA219 current exceeds this value in either direction. Set this to 0 to disable current limiting.

Show Current Readings ? Shows INA219 current and sensor status on the shared dashboard. Measurement and current-limit protection remain active when hidden.

Persistent Logging ? Master switch for writing events to flash. Leave it off unless you need history after a disconnect or reboot, because persistent writes add flash wear over time.

Two-Door Setup

On the controller serving the shared UI, select Coordinator and enter the other controller's reserved IP address.

Controller Role ? Coordinator hosts the shared UI and polls the peer. Peer controls its own door and never forwards commands.

Peer IP Address ? Reserved or fixed IPv4 address of the second ESP32. The coordinator polls status and sends targeted REST commands here.

Linked Automatic Control ? When enabled on the master, its automatic Open, Close, and Stop events are queued to the peer. The peer is placed in Manual mode but keeps its local safety limits.

Wi-Fi

WiFi will fallback to previous connection in case of failure

Fallback SSID ? The new SSID is tested immediately after saving. If the device cannot join it, the previous Wi‑Fi settings are restored.

Preferred SSID ? On startup the controller lets ESP-IDF scan all channels and choose the strongest access point for this SSID.

Password ? Leave this blank to keep the current password. If you enter a new one, it is only stored after a successful reconnect.

Review the current address and choose DHCP or a fixed network configuration.
